However, her path to realizing this dream was not without obstacles. With no familial connections in the medical field, Dr. Katiyar faced uncertainty about how to pursue her passion. Nevertheless, she remained steadfast in her determination, driven by a deep-seated desire to alleviate the suffering of others and make a meaningful impact on the world.
Her journey took a pivotal turn when she discovered the field of homoeopathy. Intrigued by its holistic approach to healing, Dr. Katiyar decided to pursue further education in this discipline. She enrolled in the Bakson Homoeopathic Medical College, where she immersed herself in the principles and practices of alternative medicine. It was here that she first experienced the transformative power of homoeopathy and realized the potential it held to revolutionize healthcare.
The Birth of WeClinic
In 2019, armed with a newfound understanding of holistic healing and a burning passion to make a difference, Dr. Katiyar took a bold step forward. Teaming up with her husband, Alok, she embarked on a journey to bring her vision to life—a vision that would soon materialize as WeClinic.
WeClinic was more than just a healthcare venture—it was a beacon of hope for those seeking alternative solutions to their health concerns. Dr. Katiyar and Alok envisioned a clinic that would blend the ancient wisdom of homoeopathy with modern innovation, offering compassionate care to all who walked through its doors. However, their aspirations were met with scepticism from their own family, who questioned the efficacy of homoeopathy compared to conventional medicine.
Undeterred by the doubts of others, Dr. Katiyar and Alok forged ahead, driven by their unfaltering belief in the power of holistic healing. They poured their hearts and souls into building Weclinic from the ground up, overcoming challenges and setbacks along the way. With each obstacle they faced, they emerged stronger and more determined than ever to realize their vision.
Navigating Challenges and Seizing Opportunities
The outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 presented unforeseen challenges for Dr. Katiyar and WeClinic. Yet, amidst the chaos and uncertainty, they found an opportunity to serve their community in
a time of need. With Alok's steadfast support, Dr. Katiyar spearheaded grassroots initiatives to provide support and care to those grappling with the effects of the pandemic.
During this tumultuous period, Dr. Katiyar's dedication to her patients shone brightly. Despite starting alone, she tirelessly served her community, treating a diverse range of ailments with compassion and expertise. Her efforts did not go unnoticed, and WeClinic began to gain traction, attracting an increasing number of patients seeking alternative healthcare solutions.
Empowering Through Compassionate Care
One of the defining moments in Dr. Katiyar's journey came when she encountered a 65+ female patient suffering from severe knee problems. Advised to undergo knee replacement surgery, the patient turned to Weclinic for an alternative solution. Moved by her plight, Dr. Katiyar offered her services free of charge, determined to alleviate the patient's suffering through homoeopathic treatment.
Within three months, the patient experienced significant improvement, eschewing the need for surgery altogether. This transformative experience reinforced Dr. Katiyar's belief in the efficacy of homoeopathy and solidified her commitment to serving those in need, regardless of their financial circumstances.
In Dr. Deeksha Katiyar's story, there's another touching chapter about Rishi—a young boy whose life changed thanks to homoeopathy. Rishi faced difficulties walking due to swollen knees, leaving him bedridden and his family struggling financially. At Weclinic, Rishi found hope. Dr. Katiyar, known for her compassion and expertise in homoeopathy, took him under her care. With personalized treatments, Rishi's knees gradually improved, swelling reduced, and he regained mobility. Encouraged by his progress, Rishi returned to school with a renewed spirit.
Personal and Professional Growth

Despite her own battles, she remained steadfast in her mission to provide quality healthcare to her patients. In June 2023, she underwent a kidney transplant, a testament to her resilience and determination to overcome adversity.
Looking ahead, Dr. Katiyar envisions expanding WeClinic's reach to more cities, introducing teleconsultation services in different languages, and enhancing patient care. Despite prevailing scepticism in rural areas towards homoeopathy, Dr. Katiyar remains undeterred, driven by her belief in its efficacy.
In addition to her professional pursuits, Dr. Katiyar finds solace in travelling, shopping, and indulging in creative endeavours like painting and interior design. Inspired by visionaries like Ratan Tata and Sudha Murthy, she remains grounded and aspires to make a lasting impact on society.
Throughout her journey, Dr. Deeksha Katiyar acknowledges the invaluable support of colleagues, including doctors Shashank, Sonika Bajpai, Dheeraj Sharma, and Swati, who provided crucial mental and emotional support.
