Antimonium crudum 30 is the usual home potency of antimony trisulfide (stibnite, black sulphide of antimony). Homeopaths classically give it for a tongue white as if whitewashed, a sulky child who cannot bear to be touched or looked at, gastric upset from overeating, and horny warts. A properly made 30C contains no measurable antimony. Crude antimony salts are toxic. A randomised trial of a homeopathic wart regimen that included Antimonium crudum was no better than placebo.

What Antimonium crudum is — and what it is not
Boericke’s black sulphide of antimony. Mental and gastric signs choose it: excessive irritability with that thick white tongue.

Skin. Horny warts on hands and soles; corns; thick honey-coloured scabs; nails that grow deformed. Worse from heat of sun and from cold bath.
