Homeopathic medicine for cataract is a 19th-century picture (Cineraria drops, Calcarea fluorica, Phosphorus) — not a way to clear a cloudy lens. is plain: when glasses no longer help, the only effective treatment is surgery to remove the lens and place an intraocular lens (IOL). A globule does not phacoemulsify. Do not delay an ophthalmologist for Cineraria maritima.

People search how to treat cataract with homeopathy after glare at night and a Google list of “eye drops that dissolve cataract.” Experimental drops in animals are not an available human treatment. A cataract is a cloudy lens, not a Calc fluor deficiency

Age-related cataract is clumping of lens proteins. Nuclear, cortical and posterior subcapsular types blur, glare and wash out colour. Congenital cataract is a paediatric clock — days to weeks, not months of pellets.

: symptomatic cataract is a surgical disorder; nutrition has minimal effect on treating an established cataract. Stronger lights and a new refraction help early; they do not uncloud the lens.

Steroid tablets and drops, diabetes, smoking, UV, trauma and previous eye surgery raise risk. None of those are reversed by Silicea.

What the evidence actually says

There is no reliable trial that Cineraria, Calc fluor, Phosphorus or Silicea 30C reverses lens opacity or improves best-corrected acuity the way an IOL does.

: cataract surgery is usually outpatient, often under 30–60 minutes, generally safe, with risks including infection, bleeding and retinal detachment. Waiting until daily life is affected usually does not make the eventual result worse — but driving at night while waiting is a safety issue.

If someone sells Cineraria eye drops, that is a plant juice in the eye, not a 30C. Infection, allergy and delay are the risks. We do not give a drop recipe.

What you can do that is not a pellet

• Dilated exam when glare, haloes or reading fail.
• UV-blocking glasses; stop smoking; control diabetes — prevention of further opacity, not a melt of what is there.
• Update spectacles while you decide on surgery.
• After surgery: the drops the surgeon prescribed, not a random homeopathic wash.

Side effects — what is real

30C will not burn the cornea as acid. The harm is driving while blind in glare, a fall, and a missed retinoblastoma in a child.
